UPDATE: I've used this service two more times since my last review. Most recently they came to diagnose a problem with an appliance (after I tried everything I know how to do) and help me make decisions about replacement. Still amazing service, highly recommended. Remains my first call for when we need appliance help.

Very responsive, tried to help me diagnose the problem on the phone , so I could maybe save time and money. Had to come to to check , but I wasnt available, didnt complain at all, I offered to pay for the no show and asked to come again again a second time. Graciously sent Nash over and Nash took one look and figured out that these GE dishwashers all have circulation pump problems and they dont last more than 2 years especially with the hard water problems in this area. Suggested I get a new good dishwasher instead of wasting a grand trying to fix the GE one which was less than 2-3 years old.

I could not be MORE pleased by the service I've received on THREE different occasions from Rovshan at Bay City Appliance. Rovshan and Nash are incredibly responsive, kind and I second that they really know their business.They fixed several user error issues without making me feel like a total idiot. 8/6/2022Nash Kasimov did an excellent job on the repair of our 15-year old Miele dishwasher. He was very meticulous in his diagnosis, was able to obtain the needed part in a week, showed up on time on both visits. We were impressed with his knowledge of the demands of his profession. He has all the right tools and equipment to carry out the needed repairs. He is the one of the most courteous, helpful, and pleasant appliance repair professionals we have had the pleasure of working with. We would recommend him to anyone needing an appliance repair professional. We also have worked and had great experiences with his uncle and owner of BayCity Appliance Service, Roshan Omar.

Nash was amazing. He came to fix our 1.25 year old Kitchen Aid dishwasher which I didn't believe would break down that quickly. Nash was honest and shared experiences that others have had with the same product. He recommended that we switch to Bosch although he would have made more if we fixed the current machine. We indeed bought a new Bosch which he installed. Once installed we realized that the control panel was malfunctioning. Nash came immediately back, helped me in my discussions with Lowe's and was willing to do the reinstall with the new machine for free. He was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend hiring them.

Nash was sent to my house to check out my dryer. Turned out not to be my dryer, but the outlet.Nash was prompt, courteous, personable, and very knowledgeable. Did not take him long at all to diagnose the issue. Even though he did not have to repair my dryer, he knew it was the outlet and that an electrician was needed. I have had electricians out to my residence, and they kept telling me it was my dryer. I can't say enough how great BayCity is. Rovshan is the owner, but Nash is his repair guy. They're very friendly and responsive and more importantly, they know their stuff! I had a problem with my ovens and called BayCity and was able to secure an appointment the same day. Nash did a few tests and showed me the issues (unfortunately, they're not repairable), but he was fast and efficient, and super-friendly!I was so impressed that I set up another appointment with them to fix my dishwasher. When our cooktop stopped working, we asked out neighbors for recommendations and several of them recommended Baycity Appliance Service. We called them first and we are glad we did. A POSITIVE experience with an Appliance Repair business for a change!They came out to diagnose the problem with my stove on the SAME DAY that I called them! Had to order some parts and returned in 2 days to fix it.I think they were reasonably priced ($105 for the first Service Call to diagnose the problem, which was then applied to the final price to fix it, as opposed to the $155 another company quoted me for the initial visit).A Family business, They were very nice to deal with, came when they said they would, very clean and my stove is working!I would highly recommend them for appliance repair.

Our full size Maytag washer (which is stacked under a full size Maytag gas dryer in a very tight alcove) had been faulting with the E01 / F09 error. Nash and his brother were able to wrestle the W/D out of the alcove, take off the washer's back panel and resolve the drain issue. They did a great job and my dog loved them too! BayCity Appliance is in my "Go To" binder now.

Nash was very responsive, quick to get to my commercial dryer. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and explained what services needed to be done to keep the dryer working well since it gets heavy tenant use. He is very well mannered and attentive. Great people. I have an LG refrigerator with the famous broken compressor. They cannot repair it economically. But, they gave me free and quick diagnostics over the phone and explained the problem. I will use them next time.

I continue to call on BayCity Appliance Service for any of my appliances that need to be looked at. My kitchen exhaust fan light switch sparked and had a little smoke come out. We immediately turned off and call BayCity for a diagnosis. My thermador is about 30 years old...the issue probably is the flipper light switch unit. While Nash is there, he does hear the flickering but it seemed to stop when we put in new bulbs so I agreed to watch if it would happen again. I was totally happy with the service. Within a half a hour Nash came back and said he wanted to measure the part (vender said there was replacement part given it's age) and wrap the wires to avoid a possible fire. Upon complete, he said he would continue to see if such a part exists and will return to fix.Great service and people! Highly recommend!

Both Roshan & Nash worked on our Miele Dishwasher which is about 12 years old and had numerous issues. They were persistent in diagnosing the problems and fixing them. We have a 2.5-year-old Asko dishwasher that developed a problem with its control board. Roshan diagnosed the problem correctly, ordered the part, and installed it efficiently. He provided great service -- kept in close contact by text messaging, arrived on time, completed the work neatly. The part was expensive so it was a costly repair, but Roshan forewarned us, and the final bill was exactly as estimated. The dishwasher now works perfectly. He is no-nonsense, professional, tidy. Roshan came to my house again on Xmas eve because my thermador built in microwave broke. He pulled unit to diagnose and found my circuit board was sparking. We did smell earlier. Anyway given my unit's parts were no longer in market he recommended replace that unit with a tabletop. We found one that is very close to size and so far it works and looks great! Totally recommend for workmanship and honesty.

Our washing machine broke this morning, and with three kids at home, my husband and I were already dreading the weeks we knew we'd have to deal without it. Great service, highly recommend! Fixed my dishwasher which was european brand (Asko) and typically not common in the area. I wasn't sure if I should just give up on it because I saw parts were not generally available.Roshan gave me a quick assessment over the phone and suspected that fixing would not need a new part. I wasn't sure about that based on my own online research and nonprofessional debugging, but he mentioned he also fixed a lot of these washers in the past.We quickly set an appointment on the very same day, and he was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly. As promised he messaged me ahead of time and showed up on time.He diagnosed that the flow sensor was broken and used a special service control (not documented in the manual!!!) to switch the washer to use a timer to determine when there was enough water. On the way out he gave me a lot of tips to keep the water functioning, like filling up a cup of white vinegar to leave on the top rack occasionally, and emptying the filter a few times a week.Lastly I appreciate that he wore a mask and offered to take off his shoes coming into the house (I told him it was okay). He was very good about washing his hands.Strongly recommend Roshan and Baycity. It's pretty clear to me knows his stuff and is highly efficient.

I have called on Roshan several times for appliance repair and each time he was able to solve my problem. He worked on my Kitchen Aid dishwasher and later on a problem with a refrigerator door. In both cases he was on time and did a great job. I highly recommend him.

My top oven was not heating up, so I called Roshan. Miraculously, the oven heated up when he turned it on. Then I asked him about the burner problem on my Wolfe range. That fire miraculously came on when he turned the knob.

Although no repair was done, Roshan gave me very practical advice and options about the oven and the range, as well as how to take care of my Miele dishwasher. He is very knowledgeable about the appliances and is willing to explain and answer questions.

He was creative and willing to modify his approach based on our needs. For example, since we needed our baby's clothes right away, we externally drained the water from our washer machine, allowing it unlock so that I could get the clothes out of the stagnant water. Thank you yelpers! I'd been putting off calling someone to try to fix my ailing Miele dishwasher because I *could* get it working myself and I didn't want to go down a rat hole of expensive repairs that never fixed anything. Yea, I've had bad past experiences.

Anyway I finally couldn't take it anymore and checked yelp for a recommendation. Roshan is every good thing the other reviews state. Professional, knowledgeable, on time and very helpful. Plus he's a fine guy with a wonderful life story.

Unfortunately even he couldn't fix my dishwasher. He tried but stated that if what he did didn't work (it didn't) then the next step would be very expensive. He went over all my options which helped enormously in my feeling ok about just replacing the poor old thing (dishwasher that is, not Roshan...he's a keeper!).

I can't recommend Roshan highly enough. We had a failed valve in a washing machine that flooded the floor. This happened on a Saturday and as I was calling around to find someone that was available, Roshan was the only one that took the call, listened to the problem, helped me diagnose over the phone to see if there was a larger problem, and then scheduled to come out when he could get the right parts. Always available by text and very professional.

In addition, after his repairs were done the laundry machine started leaking after each load. Again he helped me to diagnose on the phone and when he was able to come out he quickly diagnosed that the drain pipe had developed a small leak. He was gracious and thoroughly professional. IMO his focus was on finding root cause and solving the issue and doing what is best for the client. Kudos and thanks again!

We were in urgent need of dishwasher repair Thanksgiving week. Roshan answered his phone himself and agreed to come the same day. He arrived within his stated time range and was mostly able to fix the dishwasher. He is a delightful person and made us feel confident he could do the job. It turned out that the problem wasn't completely fixed, and he came right back the next day and fixed it. He is extremely conscientious. His parting words were "if anything isnt' right, just call me."

Roshan was great. Although my oven is too old to fix (part no longer available) he really tried to give me options to save me from having to buy a new one. He also spent time discussing my other appliances, how to care for them and what problems to look out for. He even gave me advice on buying a new oven! Anticipating an expensive Miele Dishwasher repair, the phone call I put off to the last was deciding who might do the best work at a reasonable price.Roshan was my top choice. Indeed, consistent with Yelp reviews, Roshan was thoroughly knowledgeable of a Miele, to the extent of knowing the measurements that needed to match if I considered a Bosch replacement. This followed Roshan guiding me through an attempt to repair it while on the phone. Then advising me that after 2 previous repairs, he recommended a replacement. He pointed out that for the cost of replacing this part twice we could buy a new dishwasher--which he recommended. In other words, he gave us good advice and a relatively economical approach to our problem yet he made no profit from the interaction. THAT'S QUALITY SERVICE WITH INTEGRITY!

Roshan was able to fit me in the very day after I phoned him about my dishwasher. He listened carefully to everything I had tried, and then Roshan immediately located and fixed the problem. He cleared the error code from my dishwasher so that if there are future problems we'll be able to diagnose them properly. He also taught me how to keep the dishwasher from having the same problem in the future, as well as how to maintain it so it runs cleanly and efficiently. Roshan also had a few minutes to take a look at my oven/stove and fridge, and told me what to do about some minor issues with those appliances. (He could easily have recommended unnecessary repairs for those, but I respect the conservative approach he took instead -- I will definitely call him in the future, knowing that whatever repairs he does are actually necessary.

So I just called Rohan on 4th of July, not only answered by easily diagnosed my problem over the phone in 2 minutes! Wow!!! Doesn't get better!

I had the ice maker break in my freezer and reached out to several companies on a Tues evening expecting to get a call back the following day. Roshan answered his phone, and asked me to text some pictures of the fridge model number and the ice maker as well. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me some options for repair vs. replacement. That same evening he had sent me a quote! He said if I wanted to proceed, to just let him know and he'd order the parts- no high pressure sales at all.

We went ahead with the repair, and he was very good about communicating and showed up on time. He worked efficiently and had the ice maker up and running in about 30 min. He also gave some suggestions on making sure I properly maintain my other kitchen appliances, which I greatly appreciated.

Roshan at Bay City Appliance Services immediately found the problem with my dryer that was broken, found the part that I needed and went to the store to pick it up for me. He then installed the part and had the dryer working again very quicy. Roshan also gave me some advice on other appliances that I had as far as how to clean them and keep up with necessary maintenance. His fees were very reasonable. I highly recommend this company when you need any of your appliances repaired.

We have a Viking gas range that wasn't working properly. We first called another appliance service company, which gave us an estimate of $1,100! Thankfully, I checked Yelp and looked for others to get comparative bids. We got in touch with Baycity, which quoted us less than half that amount (the final invoice was $418). Roshan was prompt, determined that we didn't need all the new parts that the first company tried to sell us, did the work efficiently, and gave us some tips on the upkeep of our (older) oven. He even gave us some ideas for how to keep our dishwasher and refrigerator working efficiently--and that was just an added bonus!

The next time any of our appliances need servicing, we won't even consider anyone else. Roshan rocks!

Our 12 year old dishwasher was not draining and the water overflowed on to our wood floors. We contacted Roshan and he replied immediately. He gave us an appointment for the next day. He was running late but kept us frequently updated on his status. He was thorough and careful in diagnosing the problem. It was a clogged drain. He cleared the clog, tested the dishwasher and all is well. This the second time we have used Bay City Appliances. We highly recommend Roshan.

My Miele dishwasher developed a problem with the intake/Drain error light coming on. I contacted Roshan and scheduled an appointment. His appointments are a 2 hour window, but he texts you when he is coming over. He determined that my dishwasher actually had a couple of problems: A bad intake hose, and a noisy solenoid that he recommended replacing. I agreed to his estimate and he went ahead and ordered the parts from Miele.

When the parts arrived, he texts me with his next open appointment and we agree on a date and time. Roshan is clearly knowledgeable with Miele dishwashers. We chat about components and reliability as he works. He asks for a towel and places it exactly where it is needed to catch excess water when he flips the dishwasher to work on it. After his work, he is careful to verify that the problems are resolved and everything works as it should. He was very careful to make sure the dishwasher was reinstalled properly.

Roshan works efficiently and neatly, taking care not to scratch my wood floors or bang into the cabinets. His manner is very polite and professional. His tools are also first rate. I highly recommend his services.

Our Miele dishwasher was giving some strange light/beeping warnings, but no diagnostic information. Roshan gave me a very fair estimate and went searching for the problem. He found it and had everything back together within 2 hours. I was thrilled to have my dishwasher back and working within 9 hours of calling him. He is a very pleasant man and really seems to care about helping and fixing appliance problems. He also gave us some regular maintenance tips that the book doesn't recommend. We will definitely call him again as needed. Yes, as mentioned in other reviews, he arrived when he said he would and was flexible with my schedule as well.

Roushan has come and fixed things many times for us. He has fixed the broken door to our subzero refrigerator, the hood to our stove and just recently, our Thermadore oven went out less than a week before Christmas. Thankfully, he was able to come out, order a replacement part and install it in enough time to save our Christmas dinner! We have found him to be professional, reliable and honest. Our finicky Miele dishwasher did it again! I found Roshan through Yelp! and heard back from him within an hour or so. I was traveling, so I had to have The Grandma be available to meet him. An appointment was scheduled and he showed up on time.

He got the machine working quickly and provided a good explanation of what was going on and how we could prevent it from happening again (we probably used too much soap). He also gave us a lot of options and told us if the fix didn't work he'd come back and update it without a full service call charge. His rates were on par with others coming for a 1 hour job.

Good work, fair price, on time, hence five stars.

Roshan was wonderful. He was available on a moment's notice and fixed our dishwasher quickly. I will use Baycity for all my future appliance repairs.

He has come to our rescue on 3 occasions over the last couple of years.Summary: He comes on relatively short notice, is very methodical in his approach, is very good at what he does, and has a very professional attitude. He charges fairly: he may not be the cheapest, but stands by his work (see details below).Details:1. Our oven stopped working one new year's eve a couple of years ago, and my wife found him (on Yelp, I think) and called him over. He came within a few hours, was able to diagnose the problem to a faulty igniter, and replaced it within minutes.2. Our washer started leaking last year, and he was able to come later that day and diagnose the problem to a melted seal in the drain pump (if I recall correctly), and replace the drain pump within minutes.3. Our refrigerator stopped cooling last week (freezer was ok), and he came the next day (we had called him the night before), traced it to frost buildup in the freezer blocking the air flow to the fridge and cleaned it out. We suspected at that time that it was perhaps because one of the kids had left the door open. But the problem reappeared this week, and a call to Roshan brought him right back, at which point he diagnosed it to a faulty defrost thermostat, and replaced it for FREE!Roshan is definitely our go-to guy for appliance repair, and I recommend him very highly.

Roshan came to repair our Miele dishwasher. We were out of town. Thought he'd fixed it. Charged us $350. When we came home we discovered that it still was not working properly. He came back and fixed it (with the help of Miele telephone support). took him a couple of hours.It is now working properly. Roshan diid not charge us for the return visit. (Miele is a complicated, expensive dishwasher. I don't recommend buying one.)

I have used Baycity 3 times and each time they text before they arrive and they arrive in time frame they said they would. In Addition, they explain what the issue with the appliance is, what they have to do to fix it, and they they do what they said they would do. I will continue to use Baycity for all our repairs.

I hired Roshan to take apart my Gaggenau oven door so the accumulated dirt that had caused streaks in between the glass panels could be cleaned. I watch Roshan worked on the door for 2 hours. The door is built like a tank and has 5 glass panels in total. Roshan was meticulous and thoughtful in dismantling each layer. He is definitely a seasoned service tech and takes great professional pride in his work. I would definitely rehire Rohan without a second thought. Gaggenau is not an easy brand to service and a great test of a tech's skill.

I've called Roshan several times for three different appliances. Each time he's responded quickly and been at the house quickly to trouble shoot. He doesn't charge me $185 to come out and assess an issue (like another quote I got) and he is frank with his advice.
When delivery of a part was delayed, he kept me informed. Overall, truly one of the best service providers around. Pleasant, professional,I highly recommend.

I had a washer that wasnt draining when it should have been draining. Roshan was very accommodating and tried his best to work around my schedule. He went out of his way to troubleshoot the problem to eliminate all possible issues. Bottom line, he was familiar with my make and model washer, ordered the new pump, and texted me on my availability. He came, installed it and the problem was solved. On top of all that, he's a very nice guy and cares about the service he provides.

Baycity appliance is the BEST appliance service company around! I would give 10 stars if I could. I have interacted with many appliance companies over the years and unfortunately, many people really don't know what they are doing. At the firm I work at, we had problems with our ASKO dishwashers for years. The tech always tried to blame user error. I knew that was not the case. Then, Roshan with Baycity appliance came along and changed everything! Honestly, this guy knows appliances better than anyone! He is a smart, competent, trustworthy person who will resolve any appliance issue you have. He really goes above and beyond to make things right! I call upon him when ever i have an issue with our dishwashers or refrigerator and he makes everything run as good as new! I'm so glad we found him!

Roshan came to fix a stalled motor on the dryer. Not only did he fix it swiftly but he solve the problem with the vent that the last three service guys failed to fix. He thoroughly cleaned up afterwards and his price was less than most of the less competent people who have come in the past. Great service!

It was Friday, December, 26, the day after Christmas, when my Bosch washing machine broke. When the washer beeped to signal it was done my laundry was soaking wet. After I set it to spin cycle I discovered the problem was that the washing machine drum would not spin.

I first called Bosch. The good news was that they had a repairman who serviced my area; the bad news was that he was not available for 18 days.

Next, I called the appliance store where I purchased the washing machine. I was considering just replacing it. They recommended I have it repaired and they provided the name of a 3rd party repairman. Unfortunately that business was closed until the following Monday. (I left them a message but it's a good thing I didn't wait because when they got back to me they didn't have a repairman available for over 2 weeks).

Next, I found a website where I could enter the type of appliance I needed repaired with my zip code and get a list of companies that repair Bosch washing machines. The first company on the list was Baycity Appliance Service. I called and left a voicemail.

A few minutes later Rochan from Baycity Appliance Service returned my call. He told me he could be at my home that afternoon to look at the washing machine. That was a big relief, but then I told him I wanted to check his Yelp review first. Rochan explained that he has recently relocated to this area and didn't have any Yelp reviews yet. He provided his website address and told me about his training and experience. I was hesitant because I have always found Yelp reviews very reliable, but I wanted to get my washing machine repaired ASAP so I decided to trust him. Fortunately I was not disappointed.

We scheduled an appointment for later that day. Rochan arrived at the scheduled time and quickly diagnosed the problem. I could tell he was familiar with Bosch washing machines. He needed to order the repair part and said he could get it early the following week, and he provided a quote. The following Monday afternoon Rochan notified me that the repair part had arrived and he installed it first thing Tuesday morning. After he removed the broken part he showed me the broken part and the replacement so I could see what had caused the problem.

I highly recommend Rochan because he responded quickly, accurately diagnosed the problem, and made the correct repair as fast as I could have expected. I hope I don't have any more appliances that break, but if I do I will call Rochan first.

Rovshan is a high caliber experienced appliance service technician that really shines in customer service. I still have a large file of "love letters" from Rovshan's customers in the 8 years that he worked for Priority Appliance Service in Vancouver BC. Just can't throw them out! Our focus is high end appliance service, and Rovshan was a natural in the most challenging of circumstances. We could always count on him to solve issues.
